Direct Travel Closure for the 4th of July
Please note that we will be closed tomorrow, Friday July 3rd, to celebrate the holiday. Online reservations will remain available for booking and ticketing during this time. JetBlue opens outdoor rooftop lounge, with dog walk, at NYC's JFK Airport
In a modern-day nod to the golden age of air travel, JetBlue will open an outdoor lounge on top of Terminal 5 (T5) at New York's JFK International Airport on Wednesday. Both family and pet-friendly, the 4,046-square-foot T5 Rooftop is open to all passengers who have passed through security, regardless of their status with the airline.

Apple SIM could save you a ton on data charges by offering network access in 90 countries
The Apple SIM was one of the quieter parts of the latest round of iPad product updates - essentially, it's an internal SIM card that eliminates the need to switch out a card to access networks in the U.S. and U.K. including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and EE. All the user has to do is go into Settings and switch over to the desired network. Now, that feature just went from a nice benefit to a total gamechanger by allowing users to seamlessly switch networks across carriers in more than 90 countries.

$30 for a sandwich? New index shows which cities' hotels are priciest to eat in
Forget the debate over whether it should come with or without a fried egg. The club sandwich is the center of a much more important discussion this week -- international hotel dining costs. Hotels.com has released the results of its annual Club Sandwich Index (CSI), which ranks cities according to the average price you can expect to pay for that beautiful stack of poultry, bacon, egg (maybe), lettuce, tomato and mayo in mid- to high-end hotels.

Alaska Airlines to Link Los Angeles with Monterey, Gunnison/Crested Butte
Alaska Airlines announced that it will launch two new routes from Los Angeles later this year. The carrier will begin daily service to Monterey, California on November 5, as well as seasonal service between Los Angeles and Gunnison/Crested Butte, Colorado, a popular winter skiing destination, on December 16.
